The Senior Choir is a fun group of people who share their gifts by praising God through music. We practise once a week on Thursdays at 7pm from September to early June. The choir prepares a weekly anthem and leads the congregation in hymns on Sunday morning services. The music presented by the choir includes a wide range of styles by various composers. As well as the accompaniment of our excellent pianist, our music often includes the addition of other gifted people on instruments such as flute, percussion, guitar or keyboard strings. Most years we present a Christmas Cantata at a Sunday service in December.

New choir members are always welcome. We generally sing in 4 part harmony ( soprano, alto, tenor, bass ) so the ability to read music or some experience singing in a choir is helpful, but not required. A love of music, a joy of singing and a commitment to the choir is important.
